Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has made a speech at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). In particular, he noted that there still were structural problems in the global economy.
'There still are some structural problems in the global economy remain. It’s impossible to restart economic growth,' Putin said.
According to him, leading countries are looking for sources of growth in digital, industrial and technological sectors, as well as in robotics, energy, biotechnology, medicine and other fields.
'They partly managed to balance financial accounts, to restrict, though not to overcome the problem of rising debt, to make cash flows more transparent and manageable after the crisis of 2008-2009,' Putin stated.
