The reasons for the fight between Russian and Spanish citizens are being investigated.

Seven Russian fans were returning from the European Championship and attacked three Spanish tourists In Cologne, Germany at about 7 p.m. yesterday. The incident happened in front of the city's cathedral.

According to local police, six Russians were detained and one more managed to escape. The hooligans had tickets for the match between the teams of England and Russia, and tickets for a flight to Moscow.

The football hooligans are being questioned now.

Three Russian citizens (Sergei Gorbachev, Nikolai Morozov and the FC Lokomotiv’s fan executive Alexei Erunov were sentenced to jail for participating in the riots in France.
