The French police used tear gas to disperse English football fans in Lille. Police Special Division, mounted police and helicopters gathered on the central streets of the city. 'The BBC Ukraine' reports this.

The clashes began after the game between Russia and Slovakia. Group of the English fans of about 200 people chanted 'We hate Russia' and 'Were you in Marseilles?' It is reported that at least one participant in the riots has been arrested.

In addition, as reported by 'TASS', the Russian blogger Nikita Panasyuk was severely injured during the incident. He received a head injury and was hospitalized. Blogger caught the British fans' singing songs with insults against Russia, and jumping on cars parked on the street on the video. Fans reacted aggressively to the shooting and tried to knock the camera out of his hands.
