The second in the series of NATO Liaison Office’s monthly capacity building workshops for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on security and defence sector reforms took place on 13 June.
It was organized in cooperation with Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies.

'The focus of this edition of the workshop was on the Annual National Programme, and the role of Parliament in monitoring and evaluating its implementation.The workshop was aimed at bringing greater clarity to what the ANP is today, the manifold reform processes on which the ANP is based, as well as the new institutional opportunities for the coordination of reforms.'
Alexander Vinnikov the Head of NATO Representation to Ukraine, and Oksana Syroyid Deputy Head of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine opened the event, which was attended by Ukrainian lawmakers, their staffs, representatives of the security and defence sector, as well as civil society experts and volunteers.
