On June 15, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman began his first official visit to the United States as the head of the government. The program includes several important meetings with congressmen, ministers and representatives of the State Department.
Just after the plane’s landing at American airport, Groysman met the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the United States Department of State Victoria Nuland and an economic adviser of George Soros. Both meetings were held 'behind the closed doors.'
The PM’s schedule is very tight. Today, he’s going to attend the Congress and to have a meeting with the US Secretary of Energy Ernesto Moniz. Volodymyr Groysman will meet the US Vice President Joe Biden in the afternoon.
On June 16, the PM is going to take part in a traditional Ukrainian-American conference.
The head of the Cabinet has already shared the first photos of the meeting with journalists in a social network.
