Friday, June 10. LUBLIN, Poland — Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade under command of Brigadier General Adam Joks held an Open Day activity involving local population, representatives of authorities during Ex ANAKONDA 16 in the Training Area DĘBA.
The event was organized by LITPOLUKRBRIG Non-Kinetic S-9 Section and 5th Battalion from the Polish Army and aimed at introducing the Multinational Brigade and subordinate forces to the local population. During the Open Day the guests enjoyed first aid show and combat performance during a dynamic show. Also, according to the program, school children and other participants observed military equipment installation and got familiarized with Army signs. Also, a military band gave a spectacular performance. The Open Day finished with a 'military picnic' which created a friendly atmosphere among the military personnel and local population.
'We remind our people that military was established to protect people against aggressors. As Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade we aim at demonstrating cohesion of three establishing countries to bring peace and security to where we will be called. I am happy to see positive impression of our guests and excitement from kids attending the training area. We open our doors for them and seek for their understanding of our mission and comprehensive support,' Brigadier General Adam Joks detailed on the event.
