The National Police started looking for one of the most hard-core militants of the so-called DPR Mikhail Tolstykh, who also is known as Givi. The information appeared on the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ website.
The militant Givi is being searched by the police of Donetsk region, and is suspected of creation of banned paramilitary or armed groups, which have killed a lot of people.
Police officers saw the suspect on May 23, 2016 and then he had disappeared.
The court let detain Givi-Tolstykh, who runs Somali battalion of the so-called DPR. The announcement of searching is necessary for a trial in absentia.
Givi became notorious for abusing Ukrainian prisoners, including the 'cyborgs,' who had been defending the airport of Donetsk.
