The OSCE has revealed the footage that shows the DPR’s terrorists using banned artillery in the region of Donetsk. The footage was made by a drone and published on a YouTube channel.
On May 29, the mission’s drone discovered two 2C3 self-propelled 152 mm artillery devices in Mineralnoye that was held by the DPR. They fired four shells in the direction of Avdeevka that was controlled by the governmental forces after two explosions which had been done 200 meters from their positions, the description of the video reads.
The OSCE stresses that this fact is a violation of two points of the Minsk agreements in relation to the withdrawal and use of heavy weapons within the demarcation line.
The deputy head of the OSCE Alexander Hug has said that 'this incident is a violation of the Minsk agreements, because, first of all there is the presence and use of heavy weapons within the demarcation line.'
According to him, the OSCE’s drone noticed the militants’ self-propelled artillery at a distance of 100 meters from the residential area.
A few minutes later the crew told us that they had fired four shells towards Avdeevka held by the governmental forces, Hug said.
As reported earlier by 1492news.com, Russia agrees to placing OSCE armed police mission. The Russian Federation gives its consent to placing OSCE armed police mission in Donbass to monitor the armed conflict.
