The Head of the NATO Representation to Ukraine and Director of the NATO Liaison Office, Alexander Vinnikov, is on a three-day visit to Lviv for a number of NATO-Ukraine co-operation events.
On 31 May he was received by the Governor of Lviv Region, Oleg Synyutka, to discuss NATO-Ukraine co-operation and possibilities for enhancing practical projects and programmes supported by NATO in the region.

'On 1 June Alexander Vinnikov will visit Lviv's Military Hospital to participate in a ceremony marking the opening of an occupational therapy kitchen and wheelchair workshop, procured as part of the assistance provided to Ukraine by the NATO Trust Fund on Medical Rehabilitation (implemented by the NSPA). He will also attend the opening of a workshop bringing Allied and Ukrainian defence industry experts together, organised with the support of NATO Headquarters, the NATO Liaison Office and 'Ukroboronprom.'
'On 2 June the Head of the NATO Representation will participate in a session of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Working Group on Defence-Technical Cooperation, co-chaired by NATO's Assistant Secretary General for Defence Investment, Patrick Auroy, and First Deputy Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council, Oleg Gladkovskiy.'
Earlier the Head of the NATO Representation delivered a speech on "NATO-Ukraine relations in the current Euro-Atlantic security context" to students and faculty of Lviv National University's International Relations Department . He also took part in a televised political talk show, 'Direct Speech', on ZIK TV channel.
