Rada bans mobilization of men who lost relatives in ATO war zone

The Verkhovna Rada has banned the mobilization of relatives of the soldiers who died in the ATO.

284 deputies voted for corresponding changes in the Law on mobilization.

According to the correcting, the individuals who have lost a close relative the military, which is considered to be husband/wife, son, daughter, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, brother or sister (both of full or half blood), are not subject to mobilization.

At the same time, the law lets the victims’ relatives serve on voluntary basis in case they have a wish to do so.
