Watch: Drone delivers drugs and cell phones to London prisoners

Footage obtained by the BBC shows a drone delivering drugs and mobile phones to London prisoners in April.

In London, a man shot in the dark drone heading for the window of a cell of a penitentiary center. A black plastic bag is hung by a rope to the drone. Its content, drugs and mobile phones, is intended for an inmate who gets the bag with a long piece of wood. These recent images were filmed during the month of April 2016, before the famous Wandsworth Prison and that of Pentonville.

According to the BBC, the number of contraband and seized in prisons in England and Wales has more than doubled over the past two years. In 2013, 797 are illegal objects of all kinds that were seized. The figure rises to 2,151 illegal items for 2015.
