The plot of the motion picture is based on real life events. The film director Akhtem Seitablaev has started shooting a film 'Her Heart' under the auspices of Ukrainian State Film Agency.
The storyline of the film is based on true events, which happened in Bakhchysarai during the Second World War. The drama will be shown on the channel '1+1'.
'This is a story of a 20-year-old Crimean Tatar girl, who, in the period from 1942 to 1944, saved from death about 90 children, the majority of which were Jews,' – the film director Akhtem Seitablaev told.
Risking her own life, Saide Arifova sheltered them in Crimean foster home, taught them about traditions of Islam and Quran, misrepresenting them as Crimean Tatars. Since 'Crimean' landscapes will be filmed in Georgia, this country will also become a co-producer of the war drama 'Her Heart'. The filming will begin on June 11. An international team of actors will be involved in this process. The director has still not revealed a name of an actress, who will portray the protagonist.
