New patrol police started its work in Kryvyi Rih, Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov reported on his page in Facebook.
'Krivyi Rih – the 27th city team of patrol police is at the ready. There are 474 officers where everyone is only one of the 13 men who dreamed to join this detachment. Behind are the tests, strict selection, extremely intense and hard trainings,' Avakov wrote.
According to the Interior Minister, the nearly 500 new policemen of Kryvyi Rih include 96 women, 336 law enforcement officers with higher education and 40 combatants. The average age of the patrol policemen in Kryvyi Rih is 27 years, the minister adds.
Avakov announced that the conglomerate of Lysychansk-Severodonetsk-Rubizhne is to launch the patrol police next Sunday. On May 31, the patrol will be launched in Mariupol. It’ll be the final step of the first stage in creation of the patrol police.
