Three Ukrainians died in the crash of a cargo aircraft in Afghan city Dwyer

A cargo plane An-12 left the airport of Dwyer for Helmand province. As a result of the incident three citizens of Ukraine died.

The crew included three Ukrainians and the citizens of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

According to preliminary information, 2 Ukrainians were badly injured. The death toll is unknown. Azerbaijan has set up a commission to investigate the reasons of the tragedy.

'They have launched a process of coordination on leaving of the Commission’s representatives for to the scene to investigate the reasons of the incident,' the statement reads.

It is also known that the An-12 was rented by Silk Way Airlines to carry out inner flights in Afghanistan.
