Eurovision’s organizers will disqualify Armenia for years if the incident with public demonstration of the Nagorno-Karabakh flag happens again.

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) said that Armenian representative at the song contest Iveta Mukuchyan violated the rules of Eurovision by demonstrating Nagorno Karabakh flag after the first semi-final. The flag was listed as prohibited by the organizers several weeks before the start of the contest.

The EBU believes that the incident is a 'serious violation' and is a serious reason for disqualification of the country from the rest of the participants if a similar incident will happen again.

According to Rossiyskiy Dialog, Iveta Mukuchyan publicly demonstrated the Nagorno Karabakh flag after the first semi-final wanting to spread the 'love waves throughout the world.'
