According to UPI, a man knocked out by a clown in a circus stunt gone wrong says he’s 'very lucky' not to have 'died or been paralyzed.'
The vicrim Ben Garnham, 37, commented youtube video:
'My kids filmed me up on stage tonight not knowing what was about to happen. I'm OK just battered, Concussed, bruised and a bit dizzy. I'm very angry at the way I was carried off stage before the paramedics even checked to see if I had any major neck or back injuries. I could of been paralysed for all they knew. Thankfully I'll be OK. Thank you to all the well wishers and I'm sorry if I upset anyone or their kids. I hope Benjamin the clown is OK too.'
Garnham told the Express newspaper: 'From what I remember he didn't explain what he was actually going to do, He said, 'Push against the back of my legs' and that was the last thing I really remember.'
'I thought he was just going to squirt me with water or something. It looked more like a wrestling move.'
He added: ' I'm so lucky, I could've died or been paralyzed.'
The traveling circus has launched an investigation into the accident.
