The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko postponed his working visit to the UK which he was going to make on May 11-12. He explained his decision by the need to consult with members of Verkhovna Rada, his press service says.
According to its info, the visit was postponed due to the situation with the election of the new Attorney General and the parliament’s disapproval of the laws which are necessary for cooperation with the International Monetary Fund.
'Now these are the reforms which the country needs. This is the case when domestic policy brings adjustments into the international activities. I will continue my consultations with the deputies,' Poroshenko said commenting on his decision to postpone the visit.
