Australia is seeking after nanny for a little orphaned wombat Derek. They take into consideration only the local candidates. A person should give the wombat all the kindness and care for three days, Meduza.io reports.
The wombat lives on Flinders Island in the northeast of Tasmania. Little Derek’s mom was hit by a car. After this tragedy, the little animal was found by zoologist Kate Mooney.
Only adults are allowed to take part in the tender to become the wombat’s nanny. Moreover, the organizers pay for two tickets to the island, accommodation and a car.
Earlier, Australian cyclists have been hurt because of a kangaroo.
