A special journalistic investigation says that since Trukhanov became the mayor of Odessa, his ROST group has been getting more money for road repairs in the city. It also appears that Gennadiy Trukhanov holds a Russian passport and ROST construction company was registered through offshore companies in the British Virgin Islands, Dmitry Hnap’s investigation for Slіdstvo.Іnfo claims.

He used materials of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists. The journalists managed to get the documents of Panama-based law firm Mossack Fonseca. Gennadiy Trukhanov’s name appeared not only in documents, but also in correspondence of the Panamanian offshore firm Mossack Fonseca.

In addition, it was reported that the mayor of Odessa is the owner of Macon Assets Limited. Trukhanov’s daughter Ekatherina and one of the owners of the company Andrey Ivancho together run SCWO firm, which builds offices and residential premises.

Thus, shares in Corderoy Trading Limited belong not only to Trukhanov and Andrew Ivancho, but a deputy of Odessa City Council Yuri Schumacher. He was on the list of Trukhanov’s party "Trust matters". Earlier, Schumacher had been ROST’s CEO.

To cut a long story short, it appears that there exist at least 20 companies, which are connected with Gennadiy Trukhanov and people close to him.

However, it should be mentioned that in all the documents Trukhanov is named not as Ukrainian citizen, but the man with Russian registration.

Earlier it has been reported that a curious list, involving Russian President Vladimir Putin’s friends, appeared. It indicates that they had brought in more than $2 billion from their offshore entities, using criminal schemes.
