An electric car Tesla Model S and a passenger aircraft Boeing 737 of Australian airline company Qantas organized a race, in which the electromobile incredibly accelerated the speed, surpassing the plane.
It is difficult to determine the winner in the video, despite the fact that Elon Musk's electric car can reach the speed up to 100 km\h in less than three seconds: at some point, Boeing just became airborne and flew into the sky.
The Tesla Model S was announced in a press release on June 30, 2008. The sedan was originally codenamed "Whitestar". Retail deliveries began in the U.S. on June 22, 2012.
The Model S was to have three battery pack options for a range of up to 265 miles (426 km) per charge, but this was reduced to two, due to lack of demand for the shortest range vehicle.
