A huge sinkhole is formed at the bottom of a small lake in China’s Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. It swallowed more that 20 tons of fish and all water out of the pond.

Guangxi, officially the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is a Chinese autonomous region in South Central China, bordering Vietnam. Formerly a province, Guangxi became an autonomous region in 1958.

It is assumed that the activities at the quarry, which is located nearby, are the reason of formation of the hole.

It is known that the sinkhole swallowed 25 tons of fish, and the amount of damage for the local farmer is $ 75 thousand.

The local farmer: "The first time I noticed that the level of water in my reservoir was dropped at 4 a.m. when I inspected my farm. But the most of the water and all my fish were gone in the hole at 9 a.m."
