Russian President Vladimir Putin is dating American entrepreneur of Chinese origin Wendi Deng, who is also an ex-wife of media tycoon Rupert Murdoch, US celebrity magazine writes. However, the media outlet noted that it was a rumor.

According to US Weekly, the information about Putin dating Deng is quite obscure. Only a source supposedly "close to the powerful leader" said the relationship was "serious".

The magazine claims that Deng was spotted aboard a yacht at the island of Saint-Barthélemy in the company with a top kick Roman Abramovich on March 28.

Murdoch divorced Deng, who had been his wife for 14 years, in June 2013, following rumors of her affair with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. The politician denied a possible relationship with her.

In February 2016, Murdoch got married for the fourth time. Former model Jerry Hall, who had been dating the lead singer of The Rolling Stones Mick Jagger for 20 years, became his new wife.

In May 2015, Swiss tabloid Blick wrote that Putin flew to Switzerland to be with his rumored girlfriend Alina Kabaeva. The athlete traveled to Switzerland in order to give birth. According to the outlet, the baby she gave birth to "may be the third child of Putin and Kabaeva."

The Russian president’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said then that the information was false.

Vladimir and Lyudmila Putin announced their divorce in 2013. In January 2016, it was announced that the former president's wife married Arthur Ocheretny, who headed the Center for Development of Interpersonal Communications.
