The inhabitants of the British city Kingston upon Hull, usually abbreviated to Hull, are called to participate in the new campaign of the American photographer Spencer Tunick, who loves taking photos of the crowd of naked people.
The project is called "The Sea of Hull," and this project is organized due to the fact that the city will get the status of the UK City of Culture in 2017.
The photoset is scheduled for 9th of July 2016, but Tunick will present the outcome next year.
The organizers expect that hundreds of local residents will respond to the invitation.
People over 18 years old will get the admittance for that event. Their bodies will be painted in different shades of sea water in order to emphasize the importance of the sea in the city's history. The photographer said that the paint would help participants of the share to overcome the shyness.
"This is a great opportunity for those people who are interested in art and would like to pose nude and shy at the same time", the photographer said.
According to Tunick's words, he was inspired by the information that many of the streets of a modern city were the part of the sea in the past.
Spencer Tunick is an American photographer best known for organizing large-scale nude photo shoots. Since 1994 he has photographed over 75 human installations around the world.
