"Deadpool" has become the highest grossing R-rated film in the world history

The Blockbuster "Deadpool" has become the highest grossing R-rated film. By the 29th of March the movie has collected 745 million dollars to the box office.

"Deadpool" broke the record for the movie "The Matrix Reloaded" (742 million dollars) last weekend. Herewith, the movie isn't shown in China - the second most lucrative film market in the world, because of the abundance of violence.

Deadpool (real name Wade Winston Wilson) is a fictional antihero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Initially Deadpool was depicted as a super villain when he made his first appearance in “The New Mutants” and later in issues of “X-Force”, but since he has evolved into the role of antihero. Deadpool is a disfigured and mentally unstable mercenary with the superhuman ability of an accelerated healing factor and physical powers.

"Deadpool" was R-rated in the US, people under 17 must be accompanied by parents.
