It was known that 12-year-old Nikolai Nizhnikovsky from the village of Kamenka near Donetsk was heavily injured by a grenade and lost three limbs, but he is very successfully undergoing rehabilitation in Canada now.

Kolia and three children found the explosive object which exploded and injured the fate of children and their parents in August 2015.

By this accident 4-year-old Kolia's brother Daniel was killed, and the boy was resuscitated. As a result of the incident the child has lost both legs and one arm.

As it became known, the crippled child with his mother from occupied Donbass is in Montreal right now, where the representatives of the Shriners Children's Hospital help the boy.

Currently, Kolia is trying to learn to live with prostheses, he is starting to live again.
