Directors of "Captain America: Civil War", Anthony and Joe Russo, told about the appearance of Spider-Man in the fantasy movie. They mentioned in an interview with Forbes that the role of the character in the plot is interesting and large enough to please the fans.

Anthony Russo said: "Spider-Man doesn't have such baggage of contradictions like the other characters, and he enters into the story after the beginning of the conflict, which leaves a unique place in the film for him."

Commenting on the updated superhero costume's design, Joe Russo said that fans will always criticize any changes. "All we can do is to make clear to everyone that we love this character and feel it," he concluded.

Directors also added that Spider-Man probably will appear in the movie "The Avengers: Infinity War". Its filming will begin this year.

The creators of "The Capitan America" showed Spider-Man in the trailer on 10 of March, 2016. His role is performed by 19-year-old actor Tom Holland.

The motion picture will be released on May 2016. It tells about the conflict between the main characters of "The Avengers" – Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr). The reason for the feud was the adoption of the law, according to which the owners of superpowers must disclose their real names and faces, and work for the US government. Tony Stark supported the government, and Steve Rogers accused them of violating the civil rights.
