ExoMars launched in the framework of the joint mission of the Russian Space Agency and the European Space Agency (ESA) has successfully contacted Earth after the separation from its space tug.
According to the telemetry data, the spacecraft is now on the right way to Mars, ESA stated on its official Twitter account.
It also revealed that the lander’s solar battery has been successfully deployed and charged.
Earlier, it was reported that ExoMars had successfully separated from the Breeze space tug. Thus, it is currently flying toward Mars. ExoMars is expected to reach the planet in October.
