On Tuesday, American representatives said that one of the Daesh war ministers could be killed in an airstrike in Syria.

The USA offered $5 million for information about Abu Omar al-Shishani. He is considered to be one of the highest ranking and the most wanted fighters.

The red-bearded commander is Georgian. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi made him his military adviser and trusted him very much. It is also known that Shishani controlled a Daesh prison for hostages near Raqqa.

It was reported that Shihani could be killed during a coalition airstrike on March 4, which took place near al-Shadadi. However, the USA still have not confirmed his death. Some officials say that all the information still needs to be checked, while others note the airstrike had precisely targeted the car of the terrorist.

In November, the coalition defeated Abu Nabil, another dangerous person who played an important role in Daesh.
