Turkish Prime Minister expressed criticism toward Russia’s use of out-to-date bombs in its airstrikes in northern Syria. He said that in this way the country tries to avoid environmental pollution of its own territory, which would be inevitable in case they destroyed bombs in Russia.
Making his speech at a parliamentary meeting of his party, Davutoğlu noted that Russia carries out its attacks in Syria, making no difference between military positions and civilians.
"Russia’s planes do not use bombs reasonably. They just use them and don’t think which target they hit. because they try to get rid of the out-to-date bombs they have in their stocks," he claimed.
Davutoğlu expressed his idea that in this way Russians try to avoid environmental pollution of its own territory, which would be inevitable in case they destroyed bombs in Russia. He also made a special accent on cruelty and inhumanity of such a plan.
Furthermore PM said that Russian planes carried out 200 airstrikes near the Syrian Azaz just on Monday alone.
He expressed severe criticism toward Russia’s actions in Syria and said that present situation also threatens national interests of Turkey.
